Ville Platte A wonderful husband, father, son, brother, grandfather and friend, David Sebastien who will always be remembered by those who knew and loved him died on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at Acadian Regeional Medical Center in Eunice. He was 51. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Sunday, August 1, 2010 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 2:00 p.m. Rite of Committal will follow in St. Andrews Cemetery with Fr. Clinton Sensat Celebrant.
David devoted his life to the care of his family. He was a passionate man with many hobbies during his spare time. Hunting, fishing, and enjoying the horse races to name some but, the love he had most of all was for his family and adoring grandchildren.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Ruth Sebastien of Ville Platte mother, Icymae Sebastien of Port Barre his one son, Christopher Sebastien of Ville Platte his two daughters, Katie Sebastien and Sarah Sebastien both of Ville Platte one brother, Darrel Sebastien of Prairie Rhonde three sisters, Rita Stelly, Phyllis Thibodeaux both of Port Barre, and Shannon Rouse of Lewisburg and two grandchildren, Lexia Sebastian and Jace Castille.
Now he rest in Heaven with his beloved daughter, Lacy Sebeastien, his father, Gilbert Sebastien and his sister, Melinda Sebastien.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held Saturday, July 31, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until time of services on Sunday afternoon. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Saturday evening.
