Dale Soileau

VILLE PLATTE – Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 for Dale Soileau, 68, who passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2019 in Ville Platte.

Deacon Gene Lebouef will conduct funeral services.

Burial will take place in the Evangeline Memorial Park Cemetery.

Dale Soileau was born in Ville Platte on December 14, 950 to Percy and Femie Brunet Soileau.  Dale was a carpenter by trade.  His greatest joy was that of rabbit hunting with his grandsons.  Dale was a great man who will be missed by those that knew him.

Dale is survived by his girlfriend of 23 years, Margie Fontenot of Ville Platte, daughters, Amy Fontenot and husband Barry of Ville Platte and Andi Fontenot and husband Kevin of Corpus Christie, Texas, and six grandsons, Ryan Fontenot, Jordan Fontenot and wife Kasie, Braxton Fontenot, Hayes Fontenot, Brennan Soileau, and Josh Fontenot.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Percy and Femie Brunet Soileau and brother Rodrick Soileau.

The family requests that visitation be observed at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 from 9:00 AM until time of service.
