Ville Platte It is with great sadness that the family of Dalbis Guillory, 84 annouces his passing on Friday, February 5, 2010 at Ville Platte Medical Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Monday, February 8, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Rite of Committal will follow in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum with Fr. Clinton Sensat Celebrant.
A loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother, Dalbis will be lovingly remembered by his son, Todd Luke Guillory of Ville Platte daughter, Evelyn Fontenot and husband, Buford of Ville Platte five grandchildren, Luke Fontenot and wife, Liz, Nicole Coreil and husband, Chris, Daniel Fontenot and wife Penelope, Megan Guillory, and Alex Guillory five great grandchildren, Blair, Zachary, Brandon, Jacob, and Rebecca and six brothers and sisters, AJ Guillory, Renee Guillory, Jr., Efton Guillory, Effie Ardoin, Emily Charlie, and LouAnna Guillory.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Louella McDaniel Guillory parents, Mr. Mrs. Renee Guillory, and siblings, AnnaBell Deshotel, Thelma Deshotel, Vine Fontenot, and Beulah Ortego.
The family request that visiting hours be observed Sunday, February 7, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and again on Monday, February 8, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 4:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon.
