VILLE PLATTE It is with great sadness that the family of Cristina Grim Morales, 47, announces her passing on Thursday, September 12, 2013 she was at her residence when peacefully left this world to take her place in the next. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Saturday, September 14, 2013 at The Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church of Ville Platte. Rite of Committal will follow in the Evangeline Memorial Cemetery. Fr. Brian Harrington will officiate the services.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt, Cristina leaves behind the love of her life, her husband, Donald Donny Morales and their precious children: Jeremy Morales, Joshua Morales and Maggie Morales, all of Ville Platte. Cristina also leaves behind her greatest joy, her beautiful granddaughter, Ava Morales of Leesville. She will be deeply mourned by her loving father, Richard E. Grim of Ville Platte and her two siblings: Brian Grim and his wife, Crystal of LeCompte and Jessica Brown and her husband, Ryan of Ville Platte and their children, her nieces and nephews.
Cristina will now reunite in Heaven with her mother, Gloria Fontenot Grim, her paternal grandparents, Emerson and Audrey Williams and her maternal grandparents, Ned B. Fontenot and Laperle G. Fontenot. Their reunion will most certainly be a joyous one.
At the request of the Morales family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home of Ville Platte beginning at 4:00 PM Friday, September 13, 2013 and will continue
until 10:00 PM that evening and will resume at 8:00 AM Saturday morning and continue until the time of the service. A Rosary will be recited in her honor Friday evening at 5:30 PM.
