VILLE PLATTE It is with great sadness that the family of Claudia Soileau, 90, announces her passing on Thursday, November 26, 2009 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Ville Platte. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 28, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady Queen of all Saints Catholic Church. Rite of committal will follow in the Gates of Heaven Cemetery with Fr. Mario Romero celebrant.

A loving mother and grandmother, Claudia will be lovingly remembered by her son Joseph Rayburn Soileau of Ville Platte, one grandson Craig Soileau of Ville Platte, and two great grandchildren CJ Soileau and Anna Marie Soileau.

She was preceded in death by her husband Isom Soileau, her parents Rene and Bertha Soileau, her brothers Ferdinand Dupre and R D Dupre, and her sisters Mary Brown and Icy Brown.

The family request that visiting hours be observed Friday, November 27, 2009 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM and again on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM on Friday evening.
