VILLE PLATTE- Christopher Robert Reed passed away Thursday, April 28, 2016 at his residence in Scott, Louisiana at the age of 40.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 2, 2016 at 10 AM at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Ville Platte. Burial will follow in the Evangeline Memorial Park Cemetery with Father Tom Voorhies, celebrant.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Ville Platte from 9 AM until 9 PM and will resume Monday morning at 8 AM until time of services. A rosary will be prayed in his honor Sunday evening and 7 PM.
Christopher was a genuine, loving and caring person who enjoyed music and loved his children dearly. "Pappa," as he was known, was also adventurous and free-spirited and always made everyone feel as if they were his best friend.
Christopher leaves behind his wife, Tara Reed of Scott, La., 4 children, Aidan Dominic Reed, Oliver Samual Reed, Amelia Catherine Reed and Gabriel Anthony Reed, all of Scott, La., mother, Shirley Reed of Ville Platte, brothers, Gregory Reed of Magnolia, Ar., Michael J. Reed of Ville Platte and sisters, Claire Kimble of Portland, OR. and Catherine Clark of Ville Platte.
He is proceeded in death by his father, Anthony Reed, brothers, David and Timothy Reed and sisters, Carol and Mary Beth Berzas.
