VILLE PLATTE It is with great sadness that the family of Charles Lindsey Veillon, 70, announces his passing on April 8, 2011 at Mercy Regional Medical Center. A mass of Christian burial will take place on Monday, April 11, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 1:00 PM. Rite of committal will follow in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum with Fr. Clinton Sensat officiating.
A loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather, Charless memory will be cherished by his wife Carol Guidry Veillon of Ville Platte, three sons Todd A. Veillon and wife Vicki, Tim Veillon, and Kyle Veillon all of Ville Platte, one brother Michael Veillon and two sisters Beverly Burnham and Barbara Freidman all of Ville Platte, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents Lindsey and Gladys Miller Veillon and a great nephew Chris Shipp.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Sunday, April 10, 2011 from 11:00 AM until 10:00 PM and again on Monday, April 11, 2011 from 7:00 AM until time of services. A rosary will be prayed Sunday evening at 6:30 PM.
