VILLE PLATTE Funeral services for Charlene Fontentot, 55, will be held Thursday, November 27, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Our Lady Queen of all Saints Catholic Church with burial to follow in the Gates of Heaven Cemetery.

Ms. Fontenot a resident of Ville Platte died Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at Ville Platte Medical Center.

A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister she is survived by her husband Dudley J. Ardoin, three sons Brian Fontenot and Kasey Lee, Patrick Deville and wife Trudy, and Joseph Ardoin and wife Amanda, two daughters Monica Fontenot and Keith Meyer and Shawana DeVille and Steve Bordelon all of Ville Platte, 6 stepchildren Marie and James Rider, Jenny and Steve Dardeau, Missy Ardoin, Lena Ardoin, Christina and Joey Porche, and Shawdale and Roxann Ardoin all of Ville Platte, two brothers Glenn Fontenot and wife Judy Fontenot of Eunice, and Ricky Fontenot and wife Myra of Ville Platte, three sisters Keitha Fontenot of Ville Platte, Dianna Fontenot of Bayou Chicot, and Bernadette Lafleur of Ville Platte, 29 grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.

She is preceeded in death by her parents, Verlin and Linton Fontenot, two brothers Terrel and Ferral Godeaux, one grandchild Cristin Deville and one great grandchild Elijah Rider.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 26, 2008 from 2:00 PM until time of service on Thursday. A rosary will be said at 6:30 PM Wednesday.
