Ville Platte Funeral services for Cecilia Szivos, 93, will be held Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Evangeline Memorial Cemetery.

A resident of Ville Platte, Mrs. Szivos, died Friday, January 9, 2009 at 9:50 a.m. in Southwest Medical Center in Lafayette.

Mrs. Szivos is survived by one son, Louis James Szivos, Jr. and his wife, Aleda of Greenwill Springs; one daughter, Linda Marie Klein and husband, William of El Paso, Tx.; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Louis James Szivos, Sr.; two brothers, and six sisters.

Family request visiting hours be observed Monday, January 12, 2009 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Tuesday, from 8 a.m. until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Monday.
