VILLE PLATTEA wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, Cecilia Reed Foxworth will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Cecilia died peacefully on Friday, November 05, 2010 at Savoy Medical Center surrounded by her loved ones. She was 89. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11:00 am Monday, November 08, 2010 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte. Entombment will follow in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum with Father Clinton Sensat Celebrant.

Cecilia was a resident of Ville Platte and a retired school teacher. She leaves behind a loving and grateful family including her son, Chip Foxworth and wife, Cindy of Ville Platte her daughter, Paula Landreneau and husband, Eric of Ville Platte. She was blessed with seven grandchildren, Elizabeth Alice Vallot, Eric Philip Landreneau, Jr., Britney Fontenot, Benjamin, Brad, Beau, and Breanne Foxworth and she was further blessed with two great grandchildren, Wesley and Adeline Launey. Cecilia will be loved and remembered in our hearts forever.

Cecilia now rests in Heaven with her beloved husband, Ira Charles Foxworth, Sr. and her parents, Alford and Appoline Fontenot Reed, Sr.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Sunday, November 7th from 12 noon until 9:00 pm and again on Monday, November 8th from 7:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 6:30 pm Sunday evening.
