Ville Platte Memorial services for Catherine Rena Dore Velthoen, 91, will be held Saturday, January 24, 2009 at 11 a.m. in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Fr. Joshua Guillory will officiate the services.

Ms. Velthoen, the former Catherine Dore, died Sunday, January 11, 2009 in Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Ville Platte.

A loving sister and aunt, she is survived by one brother, Harrison Dore and wife, Aline of Jasper, Ark.; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Goneales and Euphemie Dore; seven brothers, John, Adolph, Paul, Laurent, Alfred, Piere, and Charles Dore; and three sisters, Ament Hollier, Odile Hollier, and Laurence Wilford.
