Ville Platte Funeral services for Mr. Carroll Wayne Prudhomme, 61, will be held Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at 12pm in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum. Fr. Michael Delcambre will officiate the services.

Mr. Prudhomme, a resident of Ville Platte, a farmer and retired from Cabot, died Monday, April 16, 2007 in Ville Platte Medical Center.

Survivors include one son, Mitch Prudhomme of Ville Platte; one daughter, Ashley P. Fontenot and husband, David of Carencro; one sister, Patricia Joubert of Lawtell; and two grandchildren, Samantha Fontenot and Joani Prudhomme.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Gus and Marie Prudhomme.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 17, 2007 from 11am until 10pm and on Wednesday from 8am until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 6pm Tuesday.
