Funeral services for Mrs. Carrine Yen Fontenot, 94, will be held Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at 2pm in Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Old Ville Platte Cemetery. Fr. Randall Moreau will officiate the services.

Mrs. Fontenot, a native of Vidrine and a resident of Ville Platte, died Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at 9:20am in Savoy Medical Center.

Survivors include her daughter, Dorothy L. Vidrine of Ville Platte; one brother, Lee Mayeaux of Vidrine; eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and seven great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Fontenot and a son, Edrick Fontenot.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 9, 2007 from 4pm until 10pm and on Wednesday from 8am until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 7:30pm.
