Ville Platte It is with great sadness that the family of Carrie Soileau, 93 announces her passing on Sunday, July 26, 2009 at Ville Platte Medical Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Peters Mausoleum in Grand Prairie with Fr. Gene Tremie Celebrant.

A loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Carrie will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Sylvia Fontenot of Ville Platte; six grandchildren, Tim Fontenot, Ellen Papania, Patrick Bergeron, Christine Fontenot, Peggy Johnson, and Karen Sperber; and eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Soileau; daughter, Janell Bergeron, and her parents, Lamar and Theresa Lafleur.

The family request that visiting hours be observed Monday, July 27, 2009 from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday, July 28, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Monday evening.
