Ville Platte Funeral services for Carrie F. Manuel, 88, will be held Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at 11am in Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Gates of Heaven Cemetery.

Ms. Manuel, a resident of Bridge City, La., died Sunday, October 14, 2007 at 8pm at her residence.

Survivors include four sons, Ronald Manuel and wife, Elizabeth of Bridge City, Darrell Manuel and wife, Joyce of Gonzales, Ryan Manuel and wife, Gwen of Mandeville, and Dave Manuel of Bridge City; two daughters, Lula Carr of Bridge City and Sandra Turcios of Bridge City; twenty three grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Cleven Manuel; a son, Cleven Louis Manuel; and a daughter, Geraldine Lane.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 16, 2007 from 5pm until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 7pm Tuesday.
