VILLE PLATTE - Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM at Ardoin's Funeral Home Chapel in Ville Platte on Thursday, August 9, 2018, for Carolyn Faye Bellard, 65, who passed away on Thursday, August 02, 2018 in Ville Platte, LA.

Brother Bryan Dore, pastor of New Life Assembly of God, will conduct the funeral services. The burial will take place in the Gates of Heaven Cemetery.

Carolyn Faye Bellard was born in Ville Platte, LA. on September 4, 1952 to her father, Calvin Fontenot, and mother, Essie Soileau.

Carolyn loved God with all of her heart. She attended New Life Assembly of God and never missed a Bible Study. She loved her family and prayed for them daily. She served others by working as a Licensed Practical Nurse for over 32 years. She spent some of her career with Home Health where she enjoyed traveling to help her patients. She also worked at Prairie Manor Nursing Home in Pine Prairie.

She is survived by her daughter, Renee Santoro of Ville Platte and her son, Paul Santoro of Ville Platte; seven grandchildren: Lexie Jones, Bethaney Jones, Sebastian Santoro III, Dylan Santoro, Marty Santoro, Michael Santoro, Matthew Santoro; and six great-grandchildren: Cappey Reed, Cameron Santoro, Kagan Santoro, Collin Santoro, Jaidyn Santoro, Eli Santoro, and Harper Santoro; former son-in-law, Trever Jones; sisters: Gail Lyons, Dean Guillory, Charmaine Trosclair, brothers: Carol Fontenot, and Clyde Fontenot.

She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Sebastian Santoro, Jr.; and one grandchild, Cassie Jones.

The family requests that visitation be observed at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Thursday, August 9, 2018 from 10:00 AM until time of service.
