Ville Platte It is with heavy hearts that the family of Calvin Reed announces his passing on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home at 3:55 a.m. He was 68 years old. Services will be held Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Ardoins Funeral Home in Ville Platte. Rite of Committal will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Church Point.
Calvin will be lovingly remembered by his two sons, Paul David Reed and Larry James Reed both of Ville Platte two daughters, Roxanne Gayle Reed of Lawtell and Diana Lynn Willis of Ville Platte two brothers, Ronald Reed of Pine Prairie and Robert Reed of Ville Platte six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
He now rest in Heaven with his beloved wife, Geraldine Bellard Reed parents, Joseph and Leora Broussard Reed and a grandchild, Jaylon Brooks Reed.
The family request that visiting hours be observed Saturday, September 11, 2010 from 7:00 a.m. until time of services.
Ardoins Funeral Home in Ville Platte is in charge of arrangements.
