Caldwin Fontenot

VILLE PLATTE-Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday, May 23, 2019, for Caldwin Dale Fontenot, 59, who passed away on May 18, 2019 in Lafayette, LA.

Pastor Rick Langford will conduct funeral services.

Burial will take place in Gates of Heaven Cemetery.

Caldwin Dale Fontenot was born in Ville Platte, LA on December 30, 190 to Elvin “T.L.” Fontenot and Thelma Reviere Fontenot.  He worked at Affordable Paint and Body in Lafayette for many years.  He was an active member of his church.

He is survived by his siblings, Earl Fontenot and wife Diana of Ville Platte; Brenda Raspberry and husband Tommy of Hathaway; Debbie Lafleur and husband Kary of Ville Platte; Darlene LeBlanc of Pensacola, FL.; and stepsister, Nicky “Shelly” Fontenot of Ville Platte.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Elvin “T.L.” Fontenot and Thelma Reviere Fontenot; and sister, Beverly Fontenot Weeks.

The family requests that visitation be observed at Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Ville Platte on Thursday, May 23, 2019 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM.
