Ville Platte Funeral service for Brenda Ortego Prudhomme, 59, will be held Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at 12pm in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum. Fr. Michael Delcambre will officiate the services.

Mrs. Prudhomme, a resident of Ville Platte, retired from the State of Louisiana, died April 16, 2007 in Ville Platte Medical Center.

Survivors include her parents, Herman and Ruby Ortego of Ville Platte; one son, Mitch Prudhomme of Ville Platte; one daughter, Ashley P. Fontenot and husband, David of Carencro, one brother, Glenn Ortego of Carencro; and two grandchildren, Samantha Fontenot and Joani Prudhomme.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 17, 2007 from 11am until 10pm and on Wednesday 8am until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 6pm Tuesday.
