VILLE PLATTE The family of Bobby Michael Vidrine, 57, is heartbroken to announce his passing he left this world Thursday, May 22, 20114 at Rapides Regional Medical Center of Alexandria. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 4:00 PM Monday, May 26, 2014 at The Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church of Ville Platte with Fr. Brain Harrington officiating.
Bobby, or as he was affectionately known to many, Bobby Black, was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend he will be sadly missed by his beloved sons: Jarred Vidrine and his wife, Aimee of Ville Platte and Keegan Vidrine and his wife, Stephanie of Alexandria. His legacy will forever live on through his precious grandchildren, Brayden Vidrine, Mary Margaret Vidrine and Kate Eloise Vidrine. Bobby also leaves behind his faithful sisters: Theresa Fontenot of Fort Myers, FL. and Connie Lafleur and her husband, Jimmy of Ville Platte. The loss of Bobby will be felt by many, his nieces and nephews and countless friends will be saddened by the loss of such a special individual he was a man with an extraordinary spirit.
He will now rest in Heaven with his parents, Lawrence and Essie DeVille Vidrine they surely await his arrival with open arms and joyous hearts.
At the request of the Vidrine family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home of Ville Platte beginning at 7:00 AM Monday, May 26, 2014 and will continue until the time of the services. A Rosary will be recited in his name Monday afternoon at 3:30 PM.
