VILLE PLATTE It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Bobby James Manuel, 63, announces his passing on Friday, June 13, 2014. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, June 16, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady Queen of all Saints Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow in the Evangeline Memorial Park Cemetery with Father Brad Guillory, celebrant.
A loving father, brother, and grandfather, Bobby leaves behind his two daughters Shelly L. Manuel and Amy Henry both of Pine Prairie, his brother Steve Manuel of Mamou, and his sister Shirley Fontenot of Houston. His memory will also be cherished by his three grandchildren Joseph Sosa, Jonathan Sosa and Selena Manuel.
He now rests in Heaven with his parents Elson and Avie Vidrine Manuel and his son Brad James Manuel.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Sunday, June 15, 2014 from 4:00 PM until 10:00 PM and again on Monday, June 16, 2014 from 8:00 AM until time of services. A rosary will be recited in his honor Sunday evening at 6:00 PM.
