VILLE PLATTE- Funeral services will be held at a 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte on Monday, January 29, 2018, for Bobby G. Bolfer, 70, who passed away on Friday, January 26, 2018 in Ville Platte, LA.

Father Mitch Guidry, pastor of Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church, will be celebrant of the mass and will conduct the funeral services.

Burial will take place in the Evangeline Memorial Park Cemetery in Ville Platte.

Bobby was born in Ville Platte, LA on January 16, 1948 to Lindsey and Hilda Marie Boone Bolfer.

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Mary Castille Bolfer; two daughters, Tammy LaFleur and husband, Donald of Ville PLatte and Belinda Bolfer of Pine Prairie; six grandchildren, Donovan and wife Amber Lafleur, Lindsay and husband Nathaniel Davis, Donald, Jr. Samantha, Harley and fiancée Joseph Guillory, Christian; four great-grandchildren, Neahemiah, Kaysen, Kensley and Andie; one brother, Landris Bolfer of Ville Platte.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lindsey and Hilda Bolfer; two brothers, Robert "RJ" Bolfer and Jimmy Bolfer; and one sister, Rita Fontenot.

The family requests that visitation be observed at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Sunday, January 28, 2018 from 1:00 PM until 10:00 PM. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM on Sunday by Deacon Ben Soileau. Visitation will continue Monday from 8:00 AM until time of service.
