VILLE PLATTE It is with great sadness that the family of Beverly Ann Fontenot, 59, announces her passing on Friday, November 26, 2010 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 28, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Ville Platte with Pastor Brian Dore of the New Life Assembly of God Church officiating. Burial will follow in the Evangeline Memorial Park Cemetery.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, she will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Dale Johnson of Ville Platter, her daughter Holly Renee Johnson Briscoe and husband Chad of Turkey Creek, three grandchildren Corey Cavins, Phillip Cavins, and Chase Briscoe, two step sons Gordon Johnson of Eunice and Chad Johnson of Mamou, a sister Helen Dupre of Prairieville, three brothers Jimmy Soileau and Robert Soileau both of Grand Prairie, and Louis Soileau of Prairieville. Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents Lennis and Theresa Soileau.
At the request of the family, visitation will begin at 4:00 PM Saturday, November 27, 2010 and continue until time of service. Ardoins Funeral Home in Ville Platte is in charge of arrangements.
