VILLE PLATTE It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Bettie McCauley, 82, announces her passing on Thursday, November 28, 2013 at Grace Health and Rehab in Slaughter, Louisiana. Catholic services will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Ardoins Funeral Home in Ville Platte with burial to follow in the Platin Cemetery.
A loving mother, sister, and grandmother, Bettie will be dearly missed by her son, Michael Saltzman and her daughter Sue Fontenot both of Slaughter, her brother, Burke Guillory and wife Brenda of Carencro, and her grandchildren Justin, Ladaina, and Jeremy Saltzman. Her memory will also be cherished by her four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents Cyrus and Elise Beauregard Guillory, her first husband Harry Fontenot, her second husband Andreas Saltzman, her son Eric Saltzman, and her sister Geraldine Fontenot.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Saturday, November 30, 2013 from 10:00 AM until time of service.
