VILLE PLATTE It is with great sadness that the family of Barbara Ann Wedlock, 62, announces her passing on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at her residence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Sunday, January 9, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Our Lady Queen of all Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte. Rite of Committal will follow in the Gates of Heaven Mausoleum with Father Romero celebrant.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, Barbara will be lovingly remembered by her husband Earl Wedlock of Ville Platte, three sons Michael Keith Dupre and wife Kimberly of Ville Platte, Dwight Wedlock and wife Stephanie of Ville Platte, Danny Wedlock and wife Lanie of South Carolina, two daughters Tonya Paige Delafosse and husband Eric of Hathaway and Melissa Wedlock of Ville Platte, one brother Clyde Cole of Ville Platte and 13 grandchildren.
She now joins in heaven her parents Kercy and Theresa Cole.
The family request that visiting hours be observed Saturday, January 8, 2011 from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM and again on Sunday, January 9, 2011 from 8:00 AM until time of service. A rosary will be recited on Saturday at 7:00 PM.
