VILLE PLATTE - Memorial Services will be held with at 2:00 PM at New Life Assembly of God Church in Ville Platte on Saturday, December 22, 2018, for Barbara J. McGee, 76, who passed away on Friday, December 14, 2018 in Ville Platte, LA.

Inurnment will take place in St. Anthony Cemetery in Eunice, LA.

Barbara Jean McGee was born on April 05, 1942 in Norfolk, NE to Frank Cooper and Evelyn A. Haidley Cooper. Barbara was a loving mother and grandmother. She was known for her caring nature for family, friends and animals. She was an active member of the New Life Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed reading and playing cards. Barbara will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her son, Don W. Gladfelter, Jr. of Ville Platte; step-son, James McGee of Pensacola, FL; step-daughter, Monica McGee Menier and husband Kirk of Baton Rouge, LA; 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel "Don" McGee; parents, Frank Cooper and Evelyn A. Haidley Cooper; and two daughters, Kimberly Gladfelter Sonnier and Stacy Gladfelter Lafleur; and grandson, Ryan Menier.
