Ville Platte - A Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 for Baby Ellis Jude Rushing at Ardoin's Funeral Home Chapel.

At the request of the family visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until time of service on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Ardoin's Funeral Home.

Baby Ellis Rushing is survived by his parents, Marla Rushing and Garret Berzas; sister, Eisley Berzas; maternal grandparents, Kirk Fontenot; maternal great-grandmother, Marjorie Fontenot; paternal grandparents, Kim and Keith Dupre and Lonnie Fontenot; aunts, Carly McDonald and husband Steven, April Godwin and husband Bobby, Allison Dupre and Danielle Dupre; and uncles, Elijah Fontenot and wife Jenna, Jacob Rushing and wife Grace and Travis Dupre and wife Naomi.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Simone Rushing; uncle, Gabriel Fontenot; maternal great-grandfather, Floyd Fontenot; paternal great-grandfather, Allen Berzas; and paternal great-grandmother, Frieda Saucier.

The family requests that donations be made in Baby Ellis's name to Maddie's Footprints at P.O. Box 404 Youngsville, LA 70592.
