Funeral services for Mr. Auston Pitre, 94, will be held Saturday, September 15, 2007 at 2:30pm in Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum.

Mr. Pitre, a resident of Lake Charles, died Thursday, September 13, 2007. He was retired from Texaco and a Merchant Marine veteran.

Survivors include a daughter, Kathleen Lune of Lake Charles; a sister, Patsy Stegall of Morgan City; three grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Florella West Pitre.

Visitation will be held Saturday, September 15, 2007 from 8am until time of services.
