VILLE PLATTE - Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Thursday, July 5, 2018, for Ashley Elissa Bordelon, 13, who passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 in Bunkie, LA.

Father Mitch Guidry will conduct the funeral services.

Burial will take place in the Griffin Hill Cemetery in Lone Pine, LA.

Ashley Elissa Bordelon was born in Eunice, LA on September 29, 2004. She was a 7th grader at Bayou Chicot Elementary. Ashely loved her IPAD. She was a huge fan of Veggie Tales, and would intently watch each episode. Ashley was an extraordinary young lady who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her loving parents, Kim and Joe Blood; grandparents, Linda and Clyde Bordelon; great-grandmother, Estelle Bordelon; uncles, Paul Bordelon, Michael Bordelon & Eddie Bordelon; and sisters, Lauryn Bordelon, Ainsley Blood, Caroline Blood, and Bailey Blood.

She is preceded in death by her great-grandfather, Murphy Bordelon; and great-grandparents, Rodney and Lena Ardoin.

The family requests that visitation be observed at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 from 2:00 PM until 10:00 PM. Visitation will continue Thursday, July 5, 2018 from 8:00 AM until time of service. A rosary will be recited by Deacon Ben Soileau at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, July 4, 2018.
