VILLE PLATTE - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM at Ardoin Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Saturday, December 29, 2018, for Anthony Shane Richard, 49, who passed away on December 26, 2018 in Alexandria, LA.
Burial will take place at St. Bridget's Catholic Church in Lawtell, LA.

He is survived by his mother, Betty Lavergne Richard of Church Point; his father, Robert Lee Richard of Eunice; three sons, Cullen Slay Richard of Morgan City, Victor Tre Richard of Mississippi and Timothy Shane Richard; two step-sons, Vincent and Coby Guillory both of Morgan City; two step-daughters, Heather Richard of Ville Platte and Elene Richard and their mother, Cherie of Morgan City, three grandchildren; one brother, Michael Todd Richard of Ville Platte; two sisters, Michelle Richard of Ville Platte and Krystal Ortego of Chataignier; god-father, Felton Richard of Mamou; his partner, Priscilla Soileau of Ville Platte; aunts, uncles and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his infant daughter, Brianne Richard; two brothers, Robert Troy Richard and Jared Laine Richard; his maternal grandparents, Cam Lavergne and Lillian Meche and paternal granparents, Willis Richard and Nola Darbonne Richard.

The family requests that visitation be observed at Ardoin's Funeral Home of Ville Platte on Friday, December 27, 2018 from 12:00 PM open all night. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM Friday evening at the funeral home.
