Ville Platte Funeral services for Mr. Anthony Tony Kordish, 83, will be held Friday, November 23, 2007 at 3pm in the Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Ferguson Cemetery. Rev. Walter M. Jones will officiate the services.

Mr. Kordish, a resident of Bayou Chicot, died Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at 6:55am in Savoy Medical Center.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Christine Rollins Kordish of Bayou Chicot; two sons, Joseph Wayne Kordish and wife Pauline of Bridge City, Tx and Daniel Glenn Kordish and wife, Amelia of Bayou Chicot; four daughters, Margie Ann Guillory and husband, Rodney of Bridge City, Tx, Joycie Lee Kordish of Lakeland, La, Janice Marie Jones and husband, Walter M. of St. Landry, and Juanita Kordish of Ville Platte; one sister, Mary Ann Hill of Baton Rouge; twenty-two grandchildren, thirty-six great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Luba Kordish; one brother, William Bill Kordish; and two sisters, Justine Prudhomme and Jeanette Kordish Rollins.

Visitation will be held Thursday, November 22, 2007 from 2pm until 10pm and on Friday from 8am until time of services. There will be a veterans services on Friday at 9am.
