Services were held at two oclock p.m. on Wednesday, September 5, 2007 for Anne Everly Mitchell Pitre. Mrs. Pitre died on Tuesday, September 4, 2007 following a lengthy illness.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Reverend Herbert Pitre. Mrs. Pitre was a member of Fifth Avenue Missionary Baptist Church in Oakdale, La.

Preceding her in death were her parents, E.Y. and Leola Mitchell. Other survivors include her three children, Michael Pitre, Sheryl Pitre Bordelon, and Herbert J. Pitre; two brothers, two sisters, ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Services were held in the Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Henry Laird and Bro. Larry Farres officiating. Interment followed at Furgerson Cemetery in Bayou Chicot.
