Ville Platte It is with great sadness that the family of Anna Belle Vasseur, 82 annouces her passing on Wednesday, October 07, 2009 at Ville Platte Medical Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, October 09, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow in the Evangeline Memorial Cemetery with Fr. Gene Tremie Celebrant.

A loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Anna Belle will be lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Janice Vidrine and husband, David of Baton Rouge and Betty Fontenot and fiance, Harry Mayeaux of Port Allen; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Vasseur; son, Dwayne Vasseur; parents, Johnnie Fontenot and Iaze Veillon; and a granddaughter, April Fontenot.

The family request that visiting hours be observed Thursday, October 08, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. and again on Friday, October 09, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 5:30 Thursday evening.
