Ville Platte Funeral services for Anna Mae Deshotels, 90, will be held Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at 1pm in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Fontenot Cemetery in Tate Cove.

Mrs. Deshotels, a resident of Ville Platte, died Monday, October 22, 2007 at 2am in Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Ville Platte.

Survivors include three daughters, Germaine OBanion of Beaver, La, Ella Maggio and husband, Thomas of Tate Cove, and Lou McDaniel and husband, Daniel of Faubourg; one sister, Gladys Soileau of Lake Charles; eight grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Deshotels, one grandchild, and one great grandchild.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 23, 2007 from 9am until 10pm and on Wednesday from 8am until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 6pm Tuesday.
