VILLE PLATTE It is with the heaviest of hearts and immense sadness that the family of Amy Lyn Odom, 28, announces her passing from this world to join her Savior in the next. Amy passed away at her home in Ville Platte. A celebration of her life will take place at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel of Ville Platte at 12:30 PM Thursday, August 21, 2014 with Rev. Roger Whittington as officiant.

A loving mother, daughter, sister and friend, Amy leaves behind her precious children: Cash Odom and Zoey Rider they were her absolute greatest joy in life. She will be deeply mourned by her beloved mother and step father, Cassie and Mark Calbo of Simpson, Louisiana and her brothers: Shannon Odom of Simpson and Shane Odom and his wife, Tiffany of St. Landry and a step brother, Avery Calbo of Simpson. Amy also leaves behind countless friends who will, no doubt, treasure their precious memories of her radiant smile and free spirit.

Amy will now reunite in Heaven with her father, Ted Odom and her step brother, Kenneth Calbo they most surely await her arrival with open arms and joyous hearts.

At the request of the family, visitation will take place at Ardoins Funeral Home of Ville Platte beginning at 10:00 AM Thursday, August 21, 2014 and will continue until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family in memory of Amy Odom.
