Ville Platte It is with great sadness that the family of Allie Fontenot, 90 announces her passing on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at Prairie Manor Nursing Home in Pine Prairie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Gates of Heaven Cemetery with Fr. Mario Ramiro Celebrant.
Allie had two passions in her life, gardening and animals. These along with the love for her family will keep her memory alive. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and will be lovingly remembered by her son, Ervin Fontenot of Ville Platte daughter, Genora Deville and husband, Larry of Ville Platte three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Fontenot parents, Willis and Avia Soileau one brother, Clancy Soileau, and two sisters, Anna Lafleur and Winnie Belle Soileau.
The family request that visiting hours be observed Wednesday, January 6, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday morning.
