VILLE PLATTE- It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Alicia Fontenot, 98, announces her passing on Monday, May 4, 2015. A Mass of Christian Burial will held on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 1:30 PM. Burial will follow in the Attales Cemetery with Father Brian Harrington as celebrant.
A loving mother, grandmother and friend, Alicia will be greatly missed by her son, Rickey Fontenot and wife Roxane of Basile and daughters; Norma Jane Conerly of Baton Rouge, Helen Wiltz and husband Terry of Zachary, Barbara LeBleu of St. Landry and Gloria Dupre of Port Barre. Also left behind to cherish her memory are her 26 grandchildren, 56 Great grandchildren and numerous Great Great grandchildren.
Alicia will now reunite in Heaven with her husband, August LeBleu and son, Joseph LeBleu. They will be awaiting her arrival with open arms and joyous hearts.
At the request of the Fontenot family, a visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 12:30 PM until time of services. A rosary will be recited in Ms. Fontenot's honor on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at 1 PM.
Arrangements are entrusted to Ardoin's Funeral Home of Ville Platte, La.
