VILLE PLATTE It is with great sadness that the family of Agnes R. Manuel, 78, announces her passing on Thursday, March 3, 2011 at Ochsner Medical Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 7, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte. Rite of Committal will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery with Father Clinton Sensat as Celebrant.
A loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister, Agnes will be remembered by one son, Gregory Manuel and wife Peggy of Morgan City, two daughters, Darlene Krieger Ernie of Kenner, Donna Martin and husband Patrick of Berwick, her sister Mary Ella Guidry of Houston, her four grandchildren, Tracy, Christen, Sheree and Nicole, and numerous great grandchildren.
She now joins in Heaven, her husband Howard J. Manuel and her parents Claremont and Fannie Doucet,
The family request that visiting hours be observed on Sunday, March 6, 2011, from 5:30 PM until 9:00 PM. A Rosary will be recited Sunday evening at 6:30 PM. Visitation will continue Monday, March 7, 2011 from 8:00 AM until time of service.
