Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Adele Ardoin, 97, will be held Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at 2pm in the Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Evangeline Memorial Cemetery. Fr. Gene Tremie will officiate the services.

Mrs. Ardoin, a resident of Ville Platte, died Monday, January 22, 2007 at 6:39pm in Beauregard Memorial Hospital in DeRidder.

Survivors include one son, Joseph A. Ardoin, Jr. and his wife, Joycelyn of DeRidder; four daughters, Mary Lee Domingue of Lafayette, Betty Jane Bustmante and husband, Herman of Metairie, Belinda Faye Chavers and husband, Jr. of Amite, and Georgia Wagner and husband, Wally of Hammond; one brother, Bertholin Guillory of Ville Platte; two sisters, Anna Lee of St. Landry and Rita Emmons of Parks; thirteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and eight great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Audley Ardoin, Sr. and her parents, Arnold and Elvia Guillory.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 23, 2007 from 5pm until 10pm and on Wednesday 8am until time of services. A rosary will recited at 7pm Tuesday.
