Abadie "Bee" Ardoin

Abadie "Bee" Ardoin, a beloved member of the Pine Prairie community, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Prairie Manor Nursing Home at the age of 91. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM at St. Peter Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the St. Peter Cemetery with Father Dugas officiating services.

Born on Tuesday, January 17, 1933, in Pine Prairie, Louisiana, Abadie was the cherished daughter of Sydney and Christine Ardoin, who have both preceded her in death. Abadie was known for her loving and caring nature. She always greeted you with a warm smile that brightened your day. Throughout her life, Abadie engaged in numerous hobbies and interests, finding joy in cross stitching and various arts and crafts. These creative pursuits not only filled her life with happiness but also allowed her to express her boundless creativity. 

Abadie’s presence brought joy and comfort to many, and she will be deeply missed by those she loved including her sister, Berthanna Toplanick and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Adley, Levelle, and Bufford Ardoin; and sisters, Audrey Fontenot and Sylvia Ardoin.

A visitation will be held in her honor on Thursday, November 21, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM with a Rosary being receited at 1:30 PM at St. Peter Catholic Church, located at 1309 1st St, in Pine Prairie. 

Though her physical presence may no longer be with us, Abadie Ardoin's spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all those who knew her. Her legacy of love, joy, and creativity will forever remain a treasured memory for her family and community.
